Hi i just graduated high school and make short abstract films and can get a digital camera for a grad present. Which one should i get? i have no idea? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

If price doesn't matter, take a look at cameras that you may do all controls manually. You don't want your camera to take control over focus, blend, aso...
I use a Panasonic miniDV camera and I'm pretty happy about the results. Tapes aren't too expensive, so I can shoot a lot of material and storage doesn't take a lot of space, too.
But I think everybody has his own preferences when it comes down to what specifications a camera should have.
